A Bit of Pink Always Helps...

It's been a very busy week and I am madly trying to sort out paint colours for the house. Headaches have also been extreme, so I am a weary camper. I thought I would share a tiny touch of my favorite happy-making spring colour...pink! A little pink is always welcome at my house.

This pink and blue tablecloth was a gift from my mother when I got my first apartment. It has matching napkins. I love it and use it a lot. It has a very old-fashioned feel to it:

This is the tree out in front of our house, an ornamental crabapple tree. It is frequently populated by birds as we have a big feeder in it we can watch from the front window. Yes, spring is very late here. Our lilacs are just starting!:

I brought some apple blossoms inside from our neighbour's tree, which is an even brighter pink!
Hope you have a happy weekend!

  1. I love the transition of the photo with the tablecloth and the next photo of the crabapple and sky beyond.

  2. Pink is wonderful and the pink on your ornamental crabtree is fabulous. Your lilacs are just beginning and ours are just ending. In fact, I'm thinking about nipping off the spent buds as they no longer smell delightful. I'm so sorry that the headaches continue and hope that you find rest in the coming weekend for body and soul.

P.S. Come and see the house color if you can tell from the one little picture I've got.

  3. Very pretty flowers. I finished painting my house the other night and will send you pics this weekend. I love BM's Galveston Gray.

Also - love the new pic of you as Authoress. Your hair looks great that way.
