We just returned from a whirlwind 5 day trip to gorgeous Vancouver. I love that city!! I am sad that I will no longer be wearing this fluffy white robe (which I quite enjoyed):
...and I will also miss walking 11 hours per day - great exercise (but my legs are aching so) and I will miss seeing all the interesting sights.
I will post later this week about our fantastic adventure, which involved seeing the ocean each day, a LOT of walking, visiting wonderful food and artisan markets, eating at fancy restaurants (and not so fancy ones...), visiting my dear friend M., waking up and eating pain au chocolat at the Four Seasons every day, clothes shopping, and even visiting a few decor shops. What a hard life I have...
(back to the grind tomorrow)
More soon!
looking forward to the details....and oh, the Four Seasons - you lucky gal, you!
ReplyDeleteJust got back from a {grinding! ha ha!} trip, myself. Reality is now calling! But it is wonderful to detach from it all for a while, isn't it? And, it makes coming home that much sweeter. Good luck getting caught up and I'm looking forward to your pictures, as I love Vancouver!

You certainly deserved pampering! Take care tomorrow...can you ease into it? Go in late? Leave early? :D
ReplyDeleteI just back from vacay too...so hard and yet I can not wait to sleep in my own bed!
ReplyDeleteYou have wonderful memories to help ease the transition into everyday life. Vancouver is a city with a lot to offer (says someone from the Island).
ReplyDeleteToo bad I missed you...give me a shout if you come again :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you got part of our great sunny weather last week :) I put out the patio cushions and hammock...did some gardening...very relaxing.
Best,
Michelle
Can't wait to see your pics Terri. I used to travel to Vancouver once a month for work and I loved it there! That's where my hubby and I met so it holds a special place in my heart.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you.
Hugs~
