A Perfect Place

I'm bursting with ideas, but simply don't have time for a proper post this week.  So I thought I'd post a little photo mosaic of my perfect restful home...the one in my mind!

Work is awfully busy (I'm leading a big project) and my mother-in-law moves into her new house tomorrow.  So we'll go help her tomorrow after work and on the weekends and evenings to come.  She's moving back to Calgary for retirement, so life will be a little busier with her here in town. We will miss going for country drives to her place, but it will be delightful to have her close too!

Tomorrow, I'm going for Round #3 of facet joint injections in my neck for the treatment of my chronic headaches. I'll have to tell you a little more about this later.  The injections are a little uncomfortable (a bit invasive) but seem to be helping a little.

Back in a few...

  5. Beautiful mosaic montage - there is a blog out there that does 'mosaic Mondays' - this would be a good one to enter into it!

Did you get married while we weren't looking?

  9. I'm glad that you've found some help in those injections. That's what John had before he took to stretching his neck. He found them too much to take, but men can be so squeamish.

Sounds as if you'll be busy!

Oh, I love your mosaic and am going back to take a closer look right now.

  10. Yes!! Please post more about the injections- I have headaches all the time and my dad has them daily for the last 17 years and no one can tell him whats causing it or how to fix it, very frustrating!

  13. What a lovely home you (will) have. It is a beautiful montage and a home in that style will be very peacful and a place where you can recover from work. A home to grow stronger in.
I wish you good luck with the medical treatment.

  14. Hi Terri!

Wow, what a lovely mosaic! Your house isn't far off at all from that I would say :) And considering how good you are at transforming things and finding things I'm sure that you will be able to reach what you want :)

I really hope that the injections help and that the can relieve some of your pain! Ok I'm a little curious, was it your home that was mentioned in the Washington Post? You gotta tell me about it :)

I mailed you back and I hope that it has reached you!

I love the pink roses, so beautiful, still and tranquil. And all those mirrors, love mirrors! It's amazing how much bigger a room looks with them, isn't it?!

Have a great weekend and as I said I hope that the injections help!

    Hugs, Susanne
