I'm having a heck of a tough time adjusting to the back-to-work, post-Christmas, post-sugar buzz routine. The days are dark and dreary here (and cold!) and honestly, all I dream about is escaping. I'm having a serious hankering for an ocean visit. For a while, David and I made regular pilgrimages to the stormy seaside of western Canada but we haven't been there in well over a year.
So I finally booked a flight to see my dear friend M. who lives in nautical bliss (by the ocean), but I have five whole long weeks to wait.

It was a very gloomy day but I didn't care. I wasn't at work! And I look good in police-tape yellow.

These are the best boots. I wish I could spend my days in rubber boots in Tofino.

You two really do look great in yellow! Hope that the weeks are filled with such planned fun (yes, you're going to have to create it for yourselves) that it'll be time for Tofino before you know it. So how cold is it? We've had no snow to speak of and the temps are in the normal range for this time of year.

I think Janet will love this look--truly, not kidding. It's perfect for seaside. I'm getting tired of the gray here in Boston too and it's only January. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my plogpost today! I got curious and looked around on yours. Came across your Middle Beach Video and walk on the beach. We also stayed at Middle Beach and had a little room a the top with view of that beach. We were thankful for the boots supplied and raingear and walked on the beach below the hotel. It's at least 5 years ago... but the memories came back. Love Tofino.
