Tomorrow I'm heading east for some much-needed rest and recreation with the family.
Can't wait to see my Mom, savour the east-coast autumn air, and eat lots of turkey and fixins.
David just returned from his Virginia Civil War trip and it was so nice to spend the day with him before I take flight tomorrow. I am soul-tired from long days at the office, and I'm looking forward to sleeping in, reading, watching Nate on satellite, and visiting the people I love. I might even do a little antique shopping.
Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
what? is this your thanksgiving? i love that picture. i'd kill for those natural shingles. have a restful trip, you deserve it.

Oh good...I had forgotten already that you were going home. Your mother must be so happy to have you coming for Thanksgiving and at such a lovely time of year. Hope that you are able to catch up and relax and reconnect with friends and family. AND, if you're ever going to be in Freeport, let's meet under the moose. Happy trails, my friend...
ReplyDeleteHappy Canadian Thanksgiving to you! I hope you have a really wonderful time Terri :0) Wanted to also let you know that baby Sophie arrived on the 14th! There are pics on my blog :0)
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you have a wonderful time at home. I wanted to go home to Canada too - but my marathon is the day before Canadian Thanksgiving and I'm not sure how sore I'll be.
ReplyDeleteBut I'll next be in Calgary in the spring. We'll have to catch up then.

Enjoy your time away to relax and replenish.
ReplyDeleteWe all need to do that once in a while, otherwise we lose perspective and just work, work, work!
