Life has other plans

I am rather busy these days, so as much as I'd love to be writing about home decor, I am rather preoccupied with trying to keep my job whilst living with chronic headaches, planning our trip to Europe, buying a new computer and camera, and talking frequently to my Mom on the phone. My Dad is not well (he has a degenerative neurological disease) and his condition is worsening each day. I will be going home for 3 weeks at the end of July, taking a short leave of absence.

I will post more when I have time and the inclination to think about home decor. There's just too much going on right now! My father's condition is a constant worry and my dear Mom is burnt out, so I am trying to help from afar as much as I can. To be home will be better and I wish I could go longer.

I hope you are all well and having a fun summer.

  14. Dear Terri, I wish all the best for your father's health and that you and your mum may find the strength to face all things now! I read that you live with a permanent headache: I can easily imagine how terrible that must be for you, since my own mother is suffering very often from strong migraines. You're since a long time on my bloglist, but I'm mostly a silent reader and not so much a 'commenter'. Are you still going to Europe? To which country?
    Greetings from Belgium, Marjolijn
