Homeward bound....

I'm on holiday for the next 10 days or so...heading to New Brunswick, on Canada's east coast, to see my family! I was hoping to do lots of autumn walks and antique shopping when I'm home, but I have a number of sick relatives (including my Dad in hospital - he has a progressive neurological disease which is worsening), so I don't expect the trip to be very restful or fun at all. But still great to be home with family, and to help out my Mum! See you soon...

Terri, Have a good trip. Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope you find some time to enjoy your trip. The walks and antique shopping sound delightful.

    Terri,
What a treat your blog is. Especially loved the post about Men and decorating!
Homeward bound are perhaps 2 of the most beautiful words in the English language. Hope all goes well.

I'm happy you are getting a chance to get home for awhile. I am sorry to hear of your father's illness...I hope you get some peaceful time just to visit with your family...and maybe a chance to fit in a wee bit of shopping...?!!

    All the best,

It seems that I missed you while you were home, but I hope that all went well :) There is something about the fall that makes this place nearly magical. Funny, I think we all tried so hard to escape it when we were young, only to find so much rest in it when we aged. Maybe it's like good wine from an old barrel - not much to look at from the outside, but something rich and exquisit from inside. We had our little girl and she is beautiful - pop over and see some pictures when you have a minute. I will post more soon. I hope you are more than well.

    much love,
    andrea
