A Birthday & Autumn Adventures

Fall is coming fast in Western Canada.  

The days suddenly went from 25C during the day (a lovely late summer) to very chilly mornings (6C overnight!) and cool days.  Our furnace has been on more than once already.

I snapped this pretty abstract photo of Mayday leaves and berries on our deck swing the other day:

David liked the colours so much he decided to create a matching outfit at Brooks Bros.:

He bought the top half but decided the mustard pants were a little too hip (he bought slightly more sedate yellow gold cords instead)

We're off for a (very) long weekend on Vancouver Island to celebrate a certain milestone birthday (ahem...not mine):

I will share some photos when I return (if I return...a zipline experience is being threatened).

Hope you are all well and I have some very big news to share soon which has been distracting me to no end.
