So I am stuck indoors today.
Besides the ongoing headache saga, I have had a bout of labyrinthitis (fluid is not draining in my inner ear) for the past two weeks, which gives me episodes of dizziness and weakness, as well as a sense of fullness/pressure in my head. On top of the headaches, this is a bit distressing at times.
So I decided to post a couple of photos from inside the house!
Here is a little wool felt (handmade) winter white pillow I bought in Paris. I think it is quite darling:
It sits on our new reading chair (I don't always use the back cushion). The mirror in the background is also from Paris:
Hope your weekend is filled with happiness...
Simply lovely :) Your Paris treasures are gorgeous. I've got pieces scattered about my home (too) that occasionally pop up in a blog post.
ReplyDeleteYour property is looking chilly ~ such a peaceful scene. I hope you feel better.

Eek! Look at that snow! We had four inches the other night but it was gone in a day.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the perfect day to snuggle up in that chair with a book.
I say put on that Christmas music =) It's certainly looking festive enough outside. Love your pretties in your home.
ReplyDeleteI've been stuck in the house too, from last thursday night's snow storm... called into work that I had enough floorplans to keep me busy all day friday, my amazing boss's comment was the driving is terrible...say safe and work from home...
ReplyDeleteso sorry your head is bothering you, I too have had a headache off and on for days... Calgary weather in my case, hoping we both feel better soon.
I so enjoyed your pictures from Paris, if you have more... do share them.
Stay warm and cosy & give your sweet cat a hug from me, tomorrow is our 2 year with our coco, her 6th birthday is on Dec 1, we feel so lucky to have her living with us
Hope to get together with you again for coffee sometime, I so enjoyed our last get together

gorgeous terri. the pillow and the snow!
ReplyDeleteI just love that pillow. It suits your decor so well. And it also echos the outside. So much snow! We've been hearing about in the news.
ReplyDeleteHoping you will soon be feeling much, much better.
Terri, I hope you feel better soon, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSnow already? Wow, it is above 60 degrees in DC right now.
Love your chair, pillow and especially the antique giltwood mirror. I'd love to see a larger image in a future post.
Take care ~

Terri, I'm sorry to read that you're dealing with headaches and inner ear problems. I'm sure there are moments when you feel quite down about it. I can sympathize. Since early Sept. I've been dealing with lower back pain. Turns out, I had a herniated disc, but with physical therapy I am now much better. I was beginning to think the pain was going to be my new normal. I hope you get to feeling much better soon!
ReplyDeleteI love your white pillow from Paris! And it's amazing to me that you have that much snow, but that's because our temps today are in the low 70s. With some luck, we'll have snow at Christmas like we did in 2010. Fingers crossed!
Claudia
Terri,
ReplyDeleteI envy both the snow and the pillow! Sorry you are under the weather...if Christmas music will help ease your pain, then don't look at the calender-indulge!!!
xo,

snow already?! wow....love your Paris finds. We're planning a trip in April and your apt in the Marais is on the list! We want to try a new neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I am so sorry to hear that. I have terrible migraines and bouts of vertigo and I know how debilitating it can be. Take great care of yourself and wishing you a SPEEDY recovery:)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to pass along my recovery wishes to you! The Calgary weather is a challenge especially so early in the season. It is the climate that pushed us to move as we did love the mountains and the city!
ReplyDeleteLove the white on white tones - very classy. Be well, NB in Ontario
Christmas comes when we need it, my friend. It can be anytime from January through the next January. I have been known to listen to Christmas music on warm nights in August.
ReplyDeleteYour outside views certainly look Christmasy as does that beautiful pillow and the gold-framed mirrors.
Sorry to read of the ear troubles. Having recently come through a week of ear infection, I can somewhat imagine how miserable it has been for you.
