I have so many small decorating projects planned for this summer. But now that warmer weather is here, I want to sit outside in the garden, sipping lemonade and reading a good book. This weekend, I just daydreamed about decorating...
The only thing I want to do inside the house is declutter, and/or make everything white and airy...
Only white flowers were welcome this week:
And here are some white porcelain pieces on my sideboard:
This little gravy boat joined the family last week. I think it would look very pretty with flowers in it.
I will let you in on some projects soon.
Have a great week!
Some old-fashioned white peonies would be lovely in it. Was your lemonade pink or white?
ReplyDeleteI decluttered a month ago. It is freeing and then you feel like you have a new home. It's so much fun. I'm sure you will redesign your space beautifully although I must say it looks beautiful as it is now.

Nothing like white! Your collection of white china is wonderful...love the gravy boat. Did you find that in Vancouver?
ReplyDeleteWe are getting lots of rain here in DC, so all my white flowers are turning brown. Yes, that's what happens to a white garden after a storm or two. I will be out there plucking and deadheading the spent blooms. I should do a blog post on all the yucky browns...ha, ha :)
Enjoy the rest of the week!
Talk to you soon,
Loi
I love all the white. I am on the hunt for a few more white serving pieces. Have fun with your upcoming projects.
ReplyDeleteYour sideboard looks divine! I love the freshness of white flowers and accessories - so clean and light and airy - beautiful!

Cute gravy boat....blue hydrangeas would look great. Blue and white my go to colors. As Loi said, rain rain. I've been weeding madly. That's one benefit of rain, and the raspberries are loving it!
ReplyDeletebeautiful flowers :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful roses & I love all the soft colours. I just stumbled across your beautiful bog - I look forward to popping back soon for some more lovely inspiration!
